The Canadian Consortium on Neurodegeneration in Aging (CCNA) is a national network of researchers focused on understanding and preventing aging-related cognitive diseases (e.g., dementia, Alzheimer’s) and improving the quality of life of those living with dementia. Within the CCNA network, there are many sub-teams each focusing on one theme. Co-Led by Drs. Jennifer Walker and Lindsay Crowshoe, Team 18 focuses on issues in dementia care for Indigenous populations.
